Nexora AI — Multi-Tenant ERP and POS Where a Sale Is One Transaction

One system for a retail or trading business — POS, catalogue, inventory, purchasing, CRM, double-entry accounting and VAT — with an assistant that answers from the tenant's own records and is limited to whitelisted, permission-checked tools.

12 — build phases complete, each green in CI

The problem

The till, the stock, the suppliers, the invoices and the books usually live in separate tools that someone reconciles by hand, so the numbers disagree.

The approach

A POS checkout is one database transaction that writes the sale, the stock movement, the payment, the VAT record, the journal entries and the audit event — or none of them. FastAPI with SQLAlchemy 2 and Alembic over PostgreSQL 16, Celery workers on Redis, Qdrant for tenant-scoped retrieval and ClamAV scanning of uploads, behind a Next.js front end that keeps tokens in a server-side BFF proxy. The copilot sits behind an OpenAI/Anthropic provider abstraction with grounding checks.

The results

All twelve planned phases are complete and green in CI according to the repository's roadmap: tenancy, catalogue and inventory, sales and purchasing, POS, accounting, CRM and reporting, VAT, the copilot, demand forecasting and anomaly detection, security hardening (MFA, field encryption, tamper-evident audit chaining, rate limiting) and deployment. Tests run against real PostgreSQL, never SQLite.
